Westcliff
An early evening view of the estuary. I was incredibly early to see Alison Moyet so popped outside. I think that the last time that I was at this theatre I was either watching the Sooty Show or at a ballet school performance, come to think of it I remember a trip to the Panto as an adult but either way it was a long time ago. I have however seen Alison Moyet in lots of different venues and many times over the years. I have to say that this concert was the disco albums at either ends of her career, so far, it was great to here the Yazoo hits as well as her more recent songs. This of course is her 'home' venue, even though she no longer lives locally, and many people in the audience had tenuous links to her journey. There was a different feel than last time when I saw her at the Palladium and the audience demographic was very much mine. Brilliant evening and I will remember to support local theatre more regularly.
