Malaga

Well I am just back from 2 nights in Malaga. I have been wanting to come here for ages and now thanks to Sleazy Jet I can fly from Southend. So much easier than a larger airport and if the taxi does not cancel on you, so much quicker. I stayed just out of the centre and really near to the main train station, so a real bonus. It was warm so I was able to top up my tan with little effort. I arrived Saturday afternoon, picked up some supplies from the Carrefour Express, then headed to the hotel pool for a quick dip. I then walked along the coast to the town and hopped on a boat trip for an hour. I do love a boat trip but I must admit it was rather pointless. After a short stroll back I had another dip in the pool and lounged around in the sun until 9pm. Sunday was my beach day, Torremolinos in the morning and then back to the nearest beach where I was actually able to swim behind the waves for an hour or so. Being close to the hotel also meant that I had nothing of value with me so no worries, the day was rounded off with more swimming in the pool and lazing in the evening sun. Monday was pool again and then the hop on hop off bus around the sights of Malaga before heading back to the airport. A great weekend.

And where are the piccies of trains for your ginger trainspotter friend?
